How do you convice your players to take a turn behind the DM screen?

Yeah, but I do not really see the current campaign ending soon short of me going for a TPK, and even if I got to where I blatently didn't want to run a game anymore, I wouldn't try to end it with a TPK.

I may just flat out tell them, "Look, I enjoy DMing, and I like this campaign and your characters. That is why I am putting the campaign on hold due to DM burnout. I want to continue playing as a group during this hold time so maybe I can recharge, but I don't want to half-ass run the game and end up having a decent campaign instead of a refreshing awesome campaign"

I have a somewhat related problem.

My group has problems with switching campaigns midstream (especially since adventures rarely end at the end of a session). And I do not like giving control of my campaign over to my players.

In addition, I do not award XP/treasure to characters whose players were not there since they are in no danger and it's prone to DM abuse. So I have one player who keeps on saying he wants to DM, but he will only do so if I play his character, which I generally refuse to do. I have for brief stints like "great another combat, anyone else wanna run this while I play your character?" and the end of the first Eberron adventure which was becoming so tedious I couldn't see straight (for those DMing the adventure, the adventure hinges on a single Search roll; poor adventure design).

I recently started a planar campaign in the hopes that I can allay some of the campaign takeover issues. As to the others... I don't know.

We have 3 people in our group who take turns in "the big chair". Sometimes the biggest problem is getting them to get out of it.

Knowing that it was almost my turn to get out of the big chair I dropped a huge bomb on the game. They've been working for a Rakshasa all along. It was very funny, because they finally convinced the Bounty Hunter that's been after the noble they were sent to rescue that he was working for a Rakshasa and were all smug that it wouldn't have happened to them. Then they found out it had :]

Now it's somebody else's campaign and they all occasionally hint that they aren't happy they were duped.

Shut your mouth, man! Every time this has been tried, I have been given clear and unequivocated instructions to get my game together as fast as possible.
