How do you deal with Wizard specialists when there aren't enough spells?

With so many other books on the market, including a large number of Mongoose books designed to fill holes in spell schools, it's never been a problem in my campaign.

You remind me that I've always wanted to check out Encyclopaedia Arcane: Divination exactly to provide more spells of that school, but I've never found it in any LGS...

I have more than enough spells from other D20 products to compensate for that, so its never been an issue.

Wizards without custom spells are a disgrace to their profession. They should be expanding the body of magical knowledge, not just mooching off it.

I don't have the mongoose ones so I don't know if they have the higher level spells to fill in the gaps and I just recently got the FFG one but have not gone over the spells yet.

err aren't you advocating quantity over quality? More spell access=quantity? And for some not every school has something useful in it. Necromancy leaps to mind as a school some could do without easily.

I treat more spells per day as quantity.

Necromancy kicks butt. I'm using false life and fear a lot.
