How do you present your house rules?

Stuff for the campaign world, which is a lot, is a webisite (and my sig)

I have another page of houserules for little odds and ends (also burried on the site somewhere)

table rules are interesting, but by their very nature seem to be best unwritten, and very much at the whim of the DM

I put mine on my my website before character creation begins. If I have a group that doesn't use the web much, I'll print them out for our CC session. If things change, I update them online.

Having tried it this way, I can't imagine doing it any other way!

Hm, my house rules are so simple I've not really ever thought about organizing them.

1) If the game room door is closed then you may swear if its appropriate, but it's never appropriate if the door is open as I have children.

2) Play nice.

3) Don't ask the GM's wife out. It ticks her off and annoys him and gets you univited to future games.

Other than that we stick to the rules of the game we are playing.

House rules go up on the message boards we use between sessions. Really though it is just character creation guidelines. Our table rules are left unsaid, treat everyone like you want to be treated for the most part, no problems yet. I try to avoid house rules, everytime I think about house ruling something at least one of the players will steer me back on track and we play RAW.

Good approach. There are others who believe that the rules are just guidelines, that can often enough get in the way of a fun session, and the creation of rule lawyers.
