Thought I'd try another. . . .

I pronounce it as #1, but usually only when referring to more than one erinys (Ear-RHINE-us; the singular form).

Hmmm

Okay, this poll made me laugh my head off. No, the poll isn't that funny, but a LONG time ago during a game the DM had serious problems figuring out how he wanted to pronounce it. It went something like this (sorry Grandma, and mods, I am guessing the filter will bleep most of it).

DM "Standing before you is a (air) um (erin), :):):):), a hot sexy devil bitch with a rope ..."

Fortunately, it was close to the end of the session and we ended on a cliff hanger. People were laughing so hard it was impossible to continue.

Mods, if the filter doesn't do it I'll go back and edit.
