Seriously, though, I've always pronounced it "GAY-lee ee-LAD-drin", but that's probably wrong, since I also tend towards "FEAR-ray" for the firre eladrin, and apparently the official pronunciation is "Feer".

Honestly and truly, contrary to what people might delude themselves into believing "Gaelic" and "Celtic" are not identical.

If you're going to pretend it's pseudo-gaelic, then it would be something like "ghalyuh", with the "gh" being a voiced "ch" (as in the word "loch"). The second part of the name wouldn't appear in any Gaelic language, the spelling is all wrong. It completely violates the "broad to broad and slender to slender" rule, which goes back to the earliest records of the Gaelic languages.
