How do you set up a game group these days?

I honestly wouldn't know where to begin with that. Since I live in Portland, which is a large city, I would think there has to be a number of groups looking for solid, socially aware members.

I've had a few replies now, but all are just to tell me that their game is full. Still I have hope!

I think I have found my game group. They are 20 min away, and I went and gamed with them last night. Really great group of people, intelligent, funny, and into rpgs. We played Interface Zero with the Savage Worlds system. Not sure how excited I am about the game system, but its the group the makes for a good game, and I am quite excited about the group. Thanks for chiming in with your advice about how to get involved in a game!
