How do you think 4E will morph?

I'm thinking future DMGs might be something akin to Unearthed Arcana, a collection of ways in which to bend and mutilate the game as well as what ramifications those mutilations might have.

Yes, that's what I expect or hope as well. Alternate way to handle various things. Alternate skill challenge system, social combat rules.

But I also hope for more tips on "how to be a good DM", help in world-building, monster design and much more...

Warforged>Well of course the PC writeup is better than the version from the MM. The MM version is a "normal" Warforged, not a HERO. There's a reason the MM writeups are just a placeholder for those playable races. Expect all writeups of playable monster races to be better when they are given the full PC treatment. That isn't power creep, that is making the NPC worthy of being a PC.

3E for sure. I don't realy recall 2E getting that overpowered, although it could just have been me being too young to realize it. Don't know about 1E.

Kits, and then Skills and Powers. The flexibility was nice, but some of the stuff out of the Complete Book of Elves was ridiculous, and some of the combos you could come up with in Skills and Powers was silly (in my opinion, CoDzilla was birthed therein, and only matured with 3E)

Preach it brother!

The only justification I can think for myself playing an Elven Bladesinger is that I was 14 years old at the time (And we played Rifts too!)
