How have you lost the most gaming books?

1) I lost the most to Recycling.

I left most of them in my parents' attic. They are retired. They decided to clean house one day. And they recycled untold numbers.

2) I have lost some to so called friends.

They borrowed the books. And then moved. Or they loaned them to other friends of theirs.


3) And I lost some to Religious Fanatics.

Again I loaned books to a friend. His parents confiscated his stuff (and the books I loaned him) and took them to a rally. They had a book burning. Up in flames went my Rogues Gallery, some character sheets, and maps.

I've lost maybe half a dozen books, total, over twenty years, and all of them have been leant to friends and never re-claimed.

Of course, I've probably aquired a half a dozen books the same way.

I have everything I've ever gotten, except for my original copy of 1E OA, which I sold.
