How important are and RPG's aesthetics to you?

For me the aesteethics is very important. I definitively want an aesthetic that matches the theme of the game, and is consistant within.

For example, you could not do a game like The Troubleshooters with any other visual style. It is consistant and it folows the themes. The same goes for Good Society: a Jane Austen rpg, or Cthulhutech.

On the flipside, take Shadowrun, you have some images that are gorgeous and really fits the game. Like the cover for the 1e or 2e main rulebok, but you also have some absolutely atrocious stuff, and the style is not consistant.
