How - in which level - do you roleplay?

Hi there,

I'm a little curious in which level you (meaning your gaming group) roleplay? Some examples/yes-or-no's might be:

  • Having loads of in-game interactions with N/PCs.
  • Having lots of roleplayable plots (including character-specific ones).
  • Having a good co-operation between PCs (and PCs to NPCs).

Please elaborate and describe your situation!

Thank you!

What are you up to?

Im seeing some sort of pattern to your posts today, are you concocting something?

We cover quite the gambit from session to session, the most recent campaign has had a lot of intra-party role playing and a lot less with the world at large. This will probably change once we make a name for ourselves, and start being noticed by others. At low level you might be a hero, but you are still far from note-worthy the Epic of your deeds is only a few verses.

My group tends to spend a lot of time discussing everthing we do, making plans, arguing stratagies, talking with NPC's, ect.

The problem is, i think sometimes our roleplay suffers and we get a little too meta-game with things. It doesn't always happen this way, but latly it seems like we've been getting more and more lazy about role-play. Alot of the fualt lies with the players, but i do have to say my DM's adventures have seemed a little uninspiring too.
