How long did your Shackled City campaign last?

I was curious about how this question would compare to the World's Largest Dungeon poll. I'm also curious about the expected longevity of such an "adventure path".

Eleven months, almost exactly, start to finish.

Note that we ran the magazine rather than hardcover version, so there was a chapter 'missing'.

I admit, I would be very unlikely to run it for someone who bought the hardcover.

I started the campaign in june 2005 and I still run it, slow progression, a lot of thinking from the players (too much???!!) and only 12 eight hours sessions played (next 11/19).
I run it from the magazine and they are in the second chapter, Flood season.
Maybe it will last 3 to 6 years.

I've been running it for about nine months, and they are about 1/3 of the way through the campaign. I expand a lot of the adventures and throw in side quests, so that delays things a tad.

I'm doing it with 2 groups. The longer one's been running for 1 year, with interuptions for other games along the way. I would expect it to take 1 more year. The other just started 2 weeks ago.

Incidentally, mine was the 1-3 month one. We started a game and got through the second adventure, and then two of my players got their orders and moved.

Mine lasted seven months before apathy just made it all fall apart. It wasn't that they didn't want to play, but when stuff happened to make us all miss two sessions in a row, it was like we'd all just heard the death knell sound.
