After finding a link on r.g.f.d., I lurked for a bit -- and then joined back the autumn of (I believe) 1999. We were playtesting 3e at the time, and it was torture not blabbing about it when I'd read misconceptions. I'm not sure if that was the first or second boards, though; I think it was the first, but I don't remember the torturous posting procedure that CZ mentioned, so it might have been the second.

Wow, I forgot all about that whole "President" thing. That takes me back! I also clearly remember when Wandering Monster joined, because he had the best sig ever. Well, next to Henry's.

Eric made me a moderator of the brand spanking new storyhour forum (our second forum, I think!) in 2000. Then later he made me an admin as a joke, never got around to reversing it, and I've kept my mouth shut about the mistake ever since.

I was lurking before 3E was released (April or so before hand). I'm pretty sure I posted a few times... but probably not often.
