Rules lawyers everywhere... :p Answer the poll question, silly!
Well, based on my handy-dandy profile, I started posting in September 2002 - but I've "been here" since early 2000 keeping up on the 3e scoops and reading what people thought about them.

I started lurking when it was the Eric Noah 3E updates site, site prior to the release of 3E. I'm not sure whether that's the "first" or "easier" board Cyberzombie refers to. But I didn't start posting until it had long since become ENWorld.

I lurked and mooched scoops for while,
but started posting after 3e hit the shelves.
So Option B, I'm thinkin'. :)

I just made the cut.

My first time posting was in December of 2000 (after lurking for 6 months), shortly before we switched to the (short lived) 2nd Eric Board.

I remember when "Piratecat's Storyhour" was on the general discussion board

I lurked for a couple of months before I registered and started posting here. Been posting (occasionally) since I registered. Only restarted playing D&D last year in April.

I remember "arguing" with Synaptic Dragon and Therumancer (sp?).

Yeah, I did too, I just argued with them back on WotC's newsgroups (before they had a message board).

*flails wildly*

I actually can't entirely remember whether I stopped lurking before or after Morrus took over. I *think* it was still under Eric Noah's guiding hand when I started posting, just am not entirely sure.

Since before 3E was released, but I think that was already the second set of boards. There was definitely an "old school" when I arrived. And they just keep getting older!

Not mentioning any names, of course. None of you look a postcount over 100....

I've been here since the first boards. But then I've never had a terribly
high post count. Some of the things I remember:

Ruin Explorer could have been a Fire Elementalist, because he could start flames like no one else. That name takes me back... I seem to remember Synaptic Dragon being quite good at starting arguments as well.

I guess I have chaotic tendancies or something, because I really miss the Bugaboo posts and Forrester's lessons... Ooooooh boy, the fun that ensued.

Whatever happened to Bill Door (Mr-Spinny-Eyeball) anyway? I seem to remember him arriving on the boards with a splash... "I've got a game in 2 hours, but no goats to sacrifice." (I've been reading Terry Pratchet recently, and it made me wonder...)

The Pantheon was always fun too... I seem to remember stealing KwalishKid's (I think that's the right name... it's been a while) Apparatus and going for a ride around the message boards...
