SInce )ctober 99 or so? I believe it was Erics first board. I remember vividly the leak of the stats for elven chain had me all excited at the time, so I decided to post instead of lurk.

I have been visiting Enworld for quite some time, but only very recently started using the forums, even though I have been registered on them for a month or two...

I've been around since before the release of 3E. I remember coming here every day after work to see what news or tidbit was new for the day. I lurked and didn't register for a looooong time. LOL
Like D4 i'm on my 3rd handle (Warchild, Warchild reborn, and this one). Never did get that big a post count, though.

One of my first flame wars in fact was with Ruin Explorer over "is D&D murder?" back in I believe January of 2000. God, was that the worst messageboard software on record.

wwooooooow. I had forgotten all about RE. I remember an arguement about assuming whether RE was a he or a she. Did we ever find out? What happened to RE anyway? He/she/it just leave, change names, or did someone perform an assassination ? :p

Strangely enough, considering my low post count, I've been posting since the very beginning, just not as Doc_Klueless. I went by my real name (Art Wendorf) back then.
I remember "arguing" with Synaptic Dragon and Therumancer (sp?).

I lurked during the leadup to 3ED, which is what brought me to the site.

WOW..I had forgotten all about Synaptic Dragon and Therumancer....that was (even if I can't remember the topic) already an entertaining read.

What was the one "expert poster" with a civil war" sounding name? Hmmmmm.

Oh and I always watched CZ's post....and the begining of the Pantheon...madness, all madness.

I've been here long enough to know most of the frequent old-time posters, but not long enough to join the posse. ;)

But once we're all old and cranky telling out kids that there were once these things called dice which you rolled to get some numbers to figure out what happens, and STILL peruse the boards, there will still be the Then-Dead Guard, and I, as the oldest, richest, and strangely the handsomest guy on the boards (you younger people will get killed in some war which I helped start or something), will be able to say how I remember them fondly, and there was once a man named Piratecat who was even more awesome than I.

[/joke] :p
