How long have you been with your gaming group?

The group has mutated throughout the years. But at the core you have me and my best friend who have been gaming together for almost 20 years. Our shortest-term member has been gaming with us for 5 years.

I have been playing in another group as of late...But such things are transitory. I usually absorb the "keepers" in such groups for my *real* game as replacements for lost members.

just 1 year away from the 10+

keep plugging every week till I can officialyy join the "Old Geezer" frat.

Then I can start spouting original slogans like: " In my days, we walked 12 miles to play some DnD. You kids have it so easy."

my old group played together 3-4hr/sesssion; 5 sesssions/week; 50 weeks/year; for 10+ years... just a month shy of 11 years really. i still keep in touch with most of them. but i don't think any of them play anymore.

of the games i've been a part of recently. i've known one gamer for 4 years and been in campaigns with him on and off. the rest of the group is a collection of gamers coming and going. the story hour in my sig is a campaign over 2 years old. while the OD&D campaign i referee is not yet a year.

I have been playing with the same DM for 24 years this Dec. He's the one who got me into the game and he's my brother. Though I'm the only original player left, I still marked "10+" because some of the players in the current group have been there for almost 20 years.

Over one year but not quite to the two year mark for the current group... We have had some of the group leave and other join, but some semblance of the orginal group and the original campaign are still goin' strong

Same group of guys have been playing for 15 years.

My old group consisted of people I knew since High School for the most part. Since I'm some odd 33 years, that was 10+.

However, life get in the way of that group as well as personal dynamics.

The guys I play with now I've been there about a month and a half and get to them through En World so raise a cheer for the Gamers Seeking Gamers bit. It's been a blast, at least on my part, to play with people whose styles and patterns I don't know and who surprise me.

Yup, an intresting group indeed Joe. I think Pat and I are the hack in Slashers of the group. We have a bunch of great players and have been blessed with a great DM in our game.
