How Many d20s have YOU rolled?

So how many times do you think you've rolled a d20 over the course of your gaming history?

Lets see i've been gaming for 19 years, but took about 2 years off durring college, and I haven't ONLY played D&D (or other games the required a d20) so I guess I should shave off like what? ummm 4 years in total? Think that's fair?

so 15 years we'll say.

I primarily played once a week so 52 x 15 = 780 ok so 780 games... (I didn't always play every week, but there were also times when we played more then once a week, so I think it evens out)

ok so 780 games... how many times do you think someone rolls a d20 during the average game? 100? 200? ok so a 4 hours game, if I roll a d20 every 5 minutes thats umm 12 times an hour so 48 a game? That seems low... oh well so:

780 games times 48 d20 rolls = ummm 37,440 d20 rolls.

Give or take a couple I guess.

I'm not the best (or any good at really) when it comes to math.o I could have royaly screwed up.

But in answer to your question, I had gaps in gaming - it was feast or famine over the course of my gaming career, and then random switching from DM to player also mixes it up a lot too. So I have no good way to even guess.

Well, Ive DMed and played as a player, so I have rolled lots of dice. If all of you are nice, I will not use my black set of doom that I keep right next to my computer. My online players do not like the black set.

You would not like it either. It wants me to roll it.

I DM mainly. Likely some hundred thousand. Heck sometimes a DM has to roll a d20 just to bluff.

That's something. Let's just hope it comes up a 20 eventually.

I couldn't even guess at how many I've rolled, but it must be in excess of 20,000. I can't recall how long I've been playing role-play games (i.e. I don't know when I started), but I've been pretty loyal to the d20 system. I'm also the usual GM, so I roll a hell of a lot more d20s than most of my players.

Then again, I've had long dry spells of no gaming from time to time.
