I voted ZERO. I just moved a long distance and don't know where to go to meet people that would like to play. That and all my new work
My old group (of which I was DM) contained five players beside myself. Before that I had a group that was made up of six members of my friends and family.

Have you tried the ENWorld 'Gamers seeking Gamers' forum?
http://www.enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=49
(assuming you're in a relatively metropolitan area, that is)

Two and a half:

One group with several of my closest friends. I run my 'main homebrew' game with them, or else play in the 1660s Pirate Game.

One group with a couple of those friends and some of their 'not as close to me' friends. I run a 3.5 dungeon crawl game with them on 'off' weekends.

And one group consists of my nerdiest associates over at SCCC, and we meet after class, once a week. It's basically standard D&D.

The big fat donut. 0 groups for me.
Recently moved from Utah back to Cali and am finding it hard to find a group nearby... Which sucks lol :D (and I have tried on the gamers looking for gamers threads as well :\ )

You left off an 's'
Ménage à trois

I'm in one group. My wife would kill me if I tried to game any more than that. I guess now that I think about it, I've never been in more than one group.

For the last two months I've been in two groups, for the first time since I started playing D&D. My gaming cup runneth over!

One and only.
my wife and I settled early on that two nights a week was too much gaming, of course now I have classes 3 nights and game once and there is a good chance of meetings two days a week. I might not mind playing a second, but life is just to busy. Of the 6 others I game with
5 have a 2nd group, although it is most of the same people in one of them.
I think that running a PbP should count, as that takes up large amounts of time, while playing is realtivly stress free.

Just one for now. It'll probably stay that way. We used to try to do two separate campaigns. The second one would always intentionally be the "less important" one. Once we all realized we didn't have time for two games we stuck to just one campaign at a time. We wanted to have enough time to enjoy one campaign. Right now it is Dragonlance. Previously I was running a rather long-running Forgotten Realms campaign (4+ consecutively, developing some plot threads from an overall 9 years of Forgotten Realms campaigns). It looks like we'll be switching up again and I'm desperately trying to get other people to try DMing an idea of theirs. I find being a player quite novel and enjoyable.
