My current Eberron campaign has five:

1. Action Hero
2. Arcane Hero
3. Exalted Hero
4. Influential Hero
5. Hero of Nature

We have four players, but I find it works best when someone doesn't show and we're reduced to three. Doesn't matter who isn't there, just the number of players being three. I guess it just gives each individual more room to shine. That said, they're all friends and I wouldn't want anyone to leave.

my wednesday night game has a variable number of players depending on real life schedules it has varied between me dming for 2 to 12 players for 9 years now, usually 7 players so i picked that for the poll.
 


Two in one game, three in another, and four in another. But for the most part they the people from the two both play in the three and the four, and the three play in the four. Make sense? I think it kind of does...

That'd make sense if it were true. Too bad in the DMG they didn't explicitly provide a way to determine ELs assuming a group of 5 characters.
 

Five in the group, of which two regularly GM, and a third picking up her campaign ever so often.

Been together for about 15 yrs, range in age from low 30s to mid 40s.
