How much is too much?

Just wondered about this all of a sudden. For no more particular reason than that I'm feeling tired and annoyed because I have to stop for the day.

How much writing is too much writing? Where do you draw the line between obsession and enthusiasm with RPG's?

If it starts to interfere with the other things in your life. For instance if you are skipping work to work on RPGs, or spending the house payment money to afford thenew books. Also, if it starts to interfere with your health or social activities.

I would look at it it like an addiction, and all those above are signs of addiction.

I think we all get a little "too much of a good thing" now and then. It happens with me enough that I even have a little quote that I can put on my computer desktop to remind me to stop when I've had enough:

The measure of (mental) health is flexibility (not comparison to some 'norm'), the freedom to learn from experience...to be influenced by reasonable arguments...and especially the freedom to cease when sated. The essence of illness is the freezing of behaior into unalterable and insatiable patterns.
