Everyone knows that some feats are more powerful than others. But tactical feats are basically three different feats, sometimes with each of them being as powerful as another feat itself. I suppose there is even the occassional soul (though I have not heard of one) who feels that some tactical feats have such limited abilities so as to make the feat as a whole not powerful enough to be worth considering. So the question is basically this: do you consider tactical feats too powerful, a little too powerful, average for feats, or underpowered?

Tactical feats are really cool, but they are very limited in that you usually have to spend a round or two "setting up" your cool maneuvers. Additionally, they usually have pretty high prereqs- I think that they are usually well-balanced. I think that most of the tactical feats are solid, but not too good. Just about right imho.

I agree that it depends on the feat, but usually there's at best one decent option out of the three. Most tactical feats actually seem too weak. Sure, each option is kind of like a weak feat. But people don't take those kind of feats in my general experience, so comparing to crap feats is rather pointless.

They're fun to use. They're also not too difficult for enemies to prevent you from gaining the benefit from them, because there's often a setup round followed by a payoff round. Foes get to act in between.

I find Elusive Target pretty powerful. I qualified for it as a sixth level fighter, and despite the fact that two of the maneuvers were "setups" I really only use it for the first "negate power attack." All I have to do is designate the biggest, baddest baddie in the pack as my dodge bonus recipient and I completely take away his ability to power attack me. In the meantime, I can do a full power attack with a two handed weapon and obliterate him.
