How to become Large (and in charge)

One of the players in my high-level evil campaign would like for his frenzied berserker to become permanently Large size in order to become a Warhulk. I'm fine with this, but I'm not sure how to do it. The group is high level (17th) but without a mage. They are about to travel to a huge gathering where a mage could certainly be found. Is there a good way to permanently enlarge this guy?

Polymorph Any Other.

I'd certainly allow a Wish for that sort of thing, too.

How about a continuous effect enlarge person item? I assume a simple permanency spell is too unreliable.

Enlarge Person w Permanency;
Polymorph Any Object (result is permanent as Same kingdom, class, and and intelligence)
Wish (finds Polymorph Any Object)
Miracle (finds enlarge person and Permanency)


The Polymorph Any Object method could make the target Colossal IIRC

I'd agree with all the above, saying the Poly Any Object is your best bet since IIRC it can't be dispelled as it's a Duration: Permanent...

Actually, that means it can be dispelled. Only a spell with duration "Instantaneous" can't be.

Permanent: The energy remains as long as the effect does. This means the spell is vulnerable to dispel magic.
