I have to add another source (And this is important because I have an adept I'm working up with a 19 wisdom and a 5 intelligence): Melody, from Josie and the Pussycats.
Aside from being an absolutely hilarious movie, Melody is a complete idiot that has brillant flashes of insight.
She goes from the "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands *drop soap* x3" scene in the shower to the "Does anyone else think there's something weird about Wyatt?" "You mean the way he folds his napkin over and over, like he's afraid that no one really likes him, and everyone is just using him for his connections in the record industry?" *paraphrased*
Low int characters can't learn things, they don't get simple arithmetic, they speak slowly, and simply. But they see things no one else does, and they "just know" a hell of a lot.
