I decided to try to make a bard before I filled out the survey and decided, on a whim, to give her the Cosmopolitan origin. I noticed that this background grants the prestidigitation cantrip. Then I remembered that in the Wizard now automatically gets the prestidigitation cantrip as well. (I hadn't realized this when I filled out the Wizard survey, or I would have brought it up then).
So my suggestion, if it's not too late, is for the Wizard entry to have the text "if you already have prestidigitation, then you may pick a different cantrip." They do this for the Illusionist archetype, IIRC, which handily allows gnome illusionists an extra cantrip.
But since there's a good chance there are other duplications and redundancies in LU, are you going to try to get rid of them, or is this going to be a "one of those things" kind of deal?
