The closest thing I can think of may be We're All Mad Here by Monte Cook Games for the Cypher System, which is a bit like the Brothers Grimm plus Alice in Wonderland.I’ve been dreaming of a Grimm’s original fairy tales (dark, surreal, dreamlike) crossed with Disney’s versions (light, whimsical) for some time. Likely an offshoot of my love for Changeling: The Dreaming. Basically a dark fairy tale horror comedy setting.
Yeah, that's a great sourcebook. The closest thing I can think of may be We're All Mad Here by Monte Cook Games for the Cypher System, which is a bit like the Brothers Grimm plus Alice in Wonderland.
That's awesome! Link?Today Mike Mearls put out a small tweak for Shadowdark, an alternate system for random encounters called "the threat clock". It's very interesting, but the real reason I bring this up is that I think it's hilarious and awesome that Shadowdark is now being modded by Mike Mearls. I would wager that Kelsey did not foresee that when she was hammering out her system a few short years ago.
I would not hate having experienced game designers put out their own Shadowdark supplements, beyond just hobby pro folks like me. (Although please go buy all the copper best seller Shadowdark stuff on DTRPG that you can, hint hint.)
