"Paladin!" a strong voice shouts from the hallway outside the Ready Lounge. The doors open and a large bearded figure jogs through into the room. He is fully armored in plate mail, carrying a medium shield on his left arm partially covering an ornate sword hanging on his left hip. His armor, gloves and boots are all blue, following the standard Resolutes pattern.

He stops short, seeing some new faces in the room. "Greetings to you all.", he offers with a slight nod of his head. "Verily, though I would wish to take the time to meet with each of you, time is short and duty call. Purchance we shall have more time in days to come. Until then, I must only say farewell to thee."

With that, he continues through the room and out another door marked 'Briefing Room'.

"Farewell then, and good luck." Aquaphibian stares in astonishment as Paladin leaves the room as quickly as he entered.

Looking at Ghost he says: "He's taller then I envisioned..."

"I wonder if there is anything we can do to help?"

"Avatar", came a call from the hallway in a firm, steady voice. The doors opened to admit a masked man in a dark brown and khaki Resolutes uniform.

"Hi!", he greeted with a friendly wave at the roomful of recruits. He didn't recognize any familiar faces, but assumed that would change with time. "I'd stay and get to know you better, but..." His voice trailed off as he pointed in the direction of the briefing rooms and shrugged as he walked quickly towards them.

"Psyren," says a silky voice, that eminates from a rather lovely woman at the door. She steps through the doors as they open. At the moment she looks more suited for a party than a mission, wearing a very nice Versace dress.

She smiles as she sees others in the room, "Its good to see new faces, no? I am Monique, but most know me as Psyren." Her voice is smoth and almost musical, with a french accent. She spends just enough time there to get an introduction from anyone wanting to before she excuses herself, "Pardon, I must change and be on way. Mission calls."

She heads into the locker area, and emerges later in a green and blue uniform that fits her quite nicely*. "Excuse, I must go. We talk later, no?" and she heads into the briefing room.

[sblock=KN: Pop Culture Roll 5+]Psyren was a pop singer (Britney Spears, Christina Agulera, Jessica Simpson level/type, though with more emphasis on her singing than her dancing) from France early in the decade. She looks somewhat similar.
[sblock=KN: Pop Culture Roll 10+]Psyren was a pop singer from france (Did a lot of english singing though) who was popular from the early 2000 till early 2004 when she droped out of sight. Definately looks like this could be her.

Known for good vocals and entertaining dance beats, as well as writing much of her material herself, she was a sensation for a while till early in 2004 when she walked off in the middle of a concert. You'd be suprised if this wan't her by the look.

[sblock=KN: Pop Culture Roll 15+ (Makable untrained, unlike normal)] Particularly notable was the UN Uniform Bikini (There was a calander released of this), and the Tube top, Mini-skirt, and high heel combo she also wore at a press confrence. Apparently she was a former singer of some kind (+5 to the roll on the other chart)[/sblock][/sblock]

Ghost quips, "No pro bro. Seems like a lot of that is going around."

Ghost shakes his head as if clearing his vision and says, "Schpankity! Its Psyren errr Monique. 'Sup. I am Ghost. Hey, can we help somehow?"

After she leaves Ghost sighs and then looks at Aquaphibian and says, "Bro, did you ever even momentarily wish you had some of those X-ray vision glasses when you were a kid? You know, like they advertise in all those comic books? Well, they never said the down side was being dead first... Sometimes I wish I could turn that off, like if I happen by an all you can eat buffet on senior discount day. I soooo try to avoid that. (chuckle)"

OOC: and here I thought know - pop cult was just gonna be fller... ;-)

"Ahem, Ooo la la, mon cheri....." Aquaphiban manages to spit out as Psyren comes and goes.

"This is getting really interesting" Aquaphibian says with a smirk. "You're going to have to save that X-ray vision for the field Ghost, oogling just isn't the same for you now."

Ghost sighs, "A-man, I wish I could. Its not an on or off sort of thing. And your right, its not the same... Its far worse. You still have desire, but well. . . (shrug) I guess its no wonder ghosts are always so pissed off at the living in the movies eh?"

 

[Master Pelle]

Million Mask walking up to the entrance of "Ready Lounge" while he is corrected his fedora hat. When he reaching to the entrance, he say to the voice recognition, "Million Mask."

The entrance opening and he started walking in, he see Aquaphiban and Ghost. He was expected to see weird thing but he don't expect that he will see a real life ghost. He walking up to them while he is greeting them, "Hello! I'm a newly recruited to The Task Force and you can call me Million Mask."

Ghost gives a greeting, "'Sup Million Mask. I am Ghost and this is Aquaphibian. We are all new here too. Some of the regulars are meeting back that way (points to meeting room) so we probably best all keep the party down low, hear (smiles)." FWIW its pretty clear that not much partying has been going on.
