Huge weapons?

I'm looking for a table with huge weapons. A conversion table if dice damage with scaling weapons would do as well. I can't find any on de SRD :(
Anyone?

I can't find any in the SRD, only the Small->Medium->Large sized are addressed, but maybe we can check some huge monsters:

Athach: morningstar 3d6
Could Giant: gargantuan morningstar 4d6 (oversized)
Storm Giant: greatsword 4d6
Titan: gargantuan warhammer 4d6 (oversized) or javelin 2d6

Medium->Large
1d2 1d3
1d3 1d4
1d4 1d6
1d6 1d8
1d8 2d6
1d10 2d8
1d12 3d6
2d4 2d6
2d6 3d6
2d8 3d8
2d10 4d8

It could be that for the morningstar they converted medium 1d8 -> large 2d6 and then again 2d6 -> 3d6, and the javelin 1d6 -> 1d8 then 1d8 -> 2d6, just like applying the same table TWICE.

If you assume that 3d6 -> 4d6 (the table doesn't have an entry for that), you end up with 2d6->3d6->4d6 for the huge greatsword, and the same time you end up with 1d8->2d6->3d6->4d6 if you apply 3 times the table for the gargantuan morningstar and warhammer.

It's just the only rule of thumb I can think about, and there are probably inconsistencies with monsters in other books, but perhaps you may only need to add these two lines to the table and apply the table once per "size step":

3d6 -> 4d6
3d8 -> 4d8

As you notice, early or late all weapons scaling up use d6 or d8 only, so there should be no need for more entries.

To further scale up if necessary, once a weapon is 4d6 or 4d8 I'd suggest to treat it as 4d6 = 2d6+2d6 -> 3d6+3d6 = 6d6.

If you have MMII, MMIII or FF you could check for huge armed monsters there?

Hi!

You can always go with the Arms and Equipment Guide (3.0/3.5), page 4, which goes concordant with the Player's Handbook (3.5), page 114:

Damage for Larger Weapons
O* 1st** 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th
....1 1d2 1d3 1d4 1d6 1d8 2d6
1d2 1d3 1d4 1d6 1d8 2d6 3d6
1d3 1d4 1d6 1d8 2d6 3d6 4d6
1d4 1d6 1d8 2d6 3d6 4d6 6d6
1d6 1d8 2d6 3d6 4d6 6d6 8d6
2d4 2d6 3d6 4d6 6d6 8d6 12d6
1d8 2d6 3d6 4d6 6d6 8d6 12d6
1d10 2d8 3d8 4d8 6d8 8d8 12d8
1d12 3d6 4d6 6d6 8d6 12d6 16d6
1d20 4d6 6d6 8d6 12d6 16d6 24d6

* = Original Damage
** = Increase

For example, the cloud giant's longsword is increased twice from ist base damage of 1d8, so it deals 3d6 points of damage.

Kind regards
