Tangentially, Laurie does an excellent curmudgeon. Could easily pull off a Dr. Who reminiscent of the earliest incarnations.

As long as we’re tossing names around…Richard Coyle could be fun. So could Douglas Henshaw or Ciarán McMenamin.
