What a letdown.

The character-rich finale has essentially been forgotten after a glib resolution and the show completely restarted. The new characters are not necessarily bad, but it's like watching a different show.

It's amazing how much difference a change of composers can make. The show has gone from having a uniquely lyrical and emotional film score to average generic TV music. The credits were hard to watch. It really drags the whole production down.

It's a shame they brought the show back but gutted it in the process. The original creative staff knew what they were doing. The new Human Target still has some merits, Jackie Earle Haley chief among them, but I doubt it will last very long.

Still holding on- haven't deleted it from my record list.

It was an OK episode, but you're 100% right that resolving the kidnapping of Winston should have been better handled. We could have had all the other stuff as the second episode.

I'm waiting at least until I see some more episodes before delivering the judgement.

This struck me as something of a letdown. I had too much fun watching the first season and have been looking forward to season 2 since it was announced.

I definitely agree with the disappointment of the "rescue." We got left with a really intriguing cliffhanger, even with "The Old Man" showing up to give a hand... Now, he's gone without a mention, and we get a fairly plain scenario for the rescue. And it's over before opening credits. :erm: I hope they at least expand what happened with an "in-between" episode.

I plan to keep watching, but I'm on the fence now. And it didn't help my resolve when they seemed to keep bouncing the return date...

They've got a new composer? Boo! I want McCreary back... The new title sound was odd.

I still liked it enough, but the last season finally didn't really feel satisfyingly resolved.

Same here. It's just barely holding on for me. I'm going to give it a few more episodes, but since I found out that the annoying, walking cliche female thief is going to be a regular character, it doesn't look good.

It's odd, but I missed season 1 entirely and am going to watch it on Netflix, but I finally ended up watching an episode of this, and I enjoyed it -- although it was the second episode of the season, "The Wife's Tale", but it definitely got me interested in the characters.
