Hurricane preparedness info

Well, the part of Corpus I live in is 55 ft above see level, the highest area of Corpus if your wondering, so no problem with flooding. But yeah, I'll evacuate to some land my parents have southwest of San Antonio, in LaCoste.

...And D&D night is Friday, Looks like we gotta cancel. And we can't play then for another two weeks (saying Rita does very little damage).

Rita looks like she is going to be a fun storm. I talked to a friend that is leaving tomorrow to head north. She said that the hotels are full all the way to Witchita Falls this weekend. I'm just going to bunker down and relax this weekend. Living north of Houston, my only worries are the wind (lots of trees to be knocked down), possible tornados and power outages, if anything happens in Houston at all.

My house is on really high ground, too, but I'm more worried about the high winds.

Well, school's been cancelled and it looks like I'm going to Dallas.

This is hardcore. Said in a CNN report, apparently Rita is as big as an hurricane can get, by theoretical limits.

It's going to be the size of the gulf itself.

I live north of Houston too. I am off school on Thursday and Friday. But I am still really worried, as there are A LOT of trees where I live.
