Hybrid Character Questions

Hybrid characters seem like they're really weakened then, if you can't gain access to multiple talents (again, save giving up a paragon path). Looks like the better option for my guy would be to do a full ranger, but get a multiclass feat like Battle Awareness or something.

Honestly, Rangers are the strongest damage dealers in the game. (Blame Twin Strike for being obnoxiously overpowered). You were trying to put together a character that was a better damage dealer than that.

And hybrids are overpowered if you know how to work them - you get 80% of the features of one class combined with about 50% of the features of another.
