Hybrid Rules Question

I'm pretty much in with the general consensus. Multiple HT feats in general can lead to some overpowered characters and tends to make the better hybrid combos superior choices to straight classes, but this is really a special case. If it gets out of hand his patron can always decide he's been unreliable and punish him by taking something back for example.

The only real issue you have to deal with in some groups is the 'me too' syndrome where other players may conclude that should be able to do something similar except of course they WILL try to do it with some level of optimization in mind. You can get some annoyingly pushy players that way sometimes who will try to tell you how entitled they are. Really depends on the group though. If they're really into character development there's usually not much to worry about.

This "me too" syndrome may be prevalent for players who play a hybrid class A-class B character. They see a single class A character and a single class B character and think, that their hybrid should be able to do all those things too. It appears to me that this is one of the reasons hybrid players want multiple instances of Hybrid Talent without having to choose the paragon tier hybrid option.

I'm actually not worried about him being more overpowered than anyone else and nor am I going to have to worry about "me too" people.

I was just wondering if people thought it was horribly broken, and it seems like in some cases it could be but not in all.

Thanks for all your help. :)
