I am Dumbledore of Many Colors!!

As good as Cristopher Lee would be as Dumbledore, I fear for cognitive dissonance ("Wait... he's the evil wizard, isn't he? He isn't? What movie am I watching again?").

[The same thing happened to me with West Wing and the movie American President: every time Martin Sheen appeared on the screen, I immediately associated him with the President. I had to stop watching the movie. :)]

The Times (UK Newspaper) today suggested that Tom Baker of Dr. Who fame may also be considered for the role. Certainly his agent seems quite keen on him playing it.

Heck, we have a lot of old eccentric British actors hanging about. Surely one of them can manage it?

But isn't Harry Robinson one of those "old eccentric British actors"? You make it seems like that if such an actor is not recognized in the US, they surely do not belong in such popular film as Harry Potter.

This may be a low level of age discrimination but it still falls under that category. Give the double a chance, will ya?
