Getting lost in fantasy maps
I've been meaning to post about this for a while.
I saw I Am Legend not long ago and as it began I was trying to pay attention during some of the slow moments for little touches. I saw one as Will Smith was driving around town chasing the deer. He passed a billboard for a hypothetical future movie. There was only a billboard for it hanging, I believe, in Times Square.
The billboard was unmistakable. It showed Superman logo inside Batman's wings.
Now I'm not sure if there really is a future film coming down the pike for a Batman/Superman movie. Maybe there really is. I didn't think there was, but seeing this (fake?) billboard made me smile. I makes me want to rent the DVD when it comes out to look for more of these little touches.
