I didn't get my 3.5 books today.

I'm sick of people bragging and such, so I thought I'd start a thread for the rest of us slobs.

Here goes:

I didn't get my books today. I probably won't get them tomorrow, either. But on Thursday, oh yes, they will be mine. The PHB at least.

No books for me yet either. Hearing everyone brag about thier new books is driving me insane, but on the plus side, I don't think anybody else in Canada has thhem either.

Well, my PHB and MM shipped yesterday, but not the DMG None have arrived yet. Grrr.

Friday, and that's what I get for supporting my FLGS. My friend who ordered from HellMart is getting his today, and cheaper, even though he paid for next day shipping.

Mine are sitting in a UPS warehouse about 5 miles down the road.

I sure hope my boss doesn't expect me to be productive tomorrow.

USPS is slackin on me....mine were shipped 5 days ago and they havent reached me yet....

Mine say that they are in transit, maybe to my house?!? The PHB and DMG are last reported in the UPS hub which is about 15 miles from my house. So, there's a slight, but non-zero chance they might have arrived today. I'll probably definitely get them tomorrow.

The MM shipped a couple of days later, and I think is still in Kentucky, or at least en route. I'll probably get it Friday.

Check this out....

My FLGS, to which I have given my business for the past decade put a copy of the PHB in my box when it came in and then once the 'rush' hit, promptly jerked the copy OUT of my box and sold it.

When I rolled in there today, after thinking about **my** new books ALL WEEK LONG I was sorely dissapointed.

In this case it is NOT better to have had and lost then to have never had at all.

On the plus side, I did not know that the human face, which I will say is capable of an amazing range of expressions and colors could be twisted and shaded into the configuration mine was for about 30 minutes.

I wonder at the state of my life when missing getting my PHB can actually get the blood pounding in my ears.

Oh well, , live and let live. Hope this makes some of you feel a bit better!
