I've had this book for a couple of days too. That's got to be a first, but I came into a FLGS right when the books came in. I asked if he had a copy of SW revised (and whether he just couldn't shelf it because of street date), but he said he didn't even order any! Ashame too, he would have got another 40$ out of me... hehe
My take on F&P is that it's pretty decent. I wish they would have refrained from including the temples section and statted more of the gods, but that's a personal preference.
I tried posting the minor differences between Lolth in F&P and D&Dg on the temp board but it lagged, so for whomever asked yesterday:
Lolth in F&P has these Salient Divine Abilities:
Extra Domain (Chaos), Extra Domain (Darkness), Extra Domain (Evil)
in place of these SDA's in D&Dg:
Extra Domain (Destruction), Increased Spell Resistance
I don't know if she has Increased Spell Resistance figured in twice or something in D&Dg, otherwise it seems they cheated her a slot, or cheated and gave her an extra slot. Or I missed one... I'll let Upper Krust do the math.
There is basically a section stating that where a god has an aspect in the Realms and in some other Cosmology, then the aspects are independent, so if you kill Lolth (or Tiamat, for example) on Oerth, their Realms aspects are left intact.
