Hello, Paladin!

Thank you for the information so far! I hope you'll find some time to read the books in detail spending so much time in answering all the questions.

I have a very specific one: I have already asked it in the Rules Forum but there was no response. I have to make an Eilistraee cleric in the very next days and so I'm wondering about the Sword Dancer prestige class. What prerequisites does my cleric have to fulfill?

Would you be so kind and lookup this?

Sure!

Requirements
Race: Elf or Half-elf
Gender: Female
BAB: +5
Skills: Diplomacy 5 ranks, Perform 5 ranks (includes dance and singing), Speak Language (Elven and Undercommon).
Feats: Dodge, Expertise, Skill Focus (Perform), Weapon Focus (any sword).
Spells: Ability to cast 2nd level divine spells.
Patron: Eilistraee
Special: The character must have seen the sun rise at least once and spent at least one continuous month living on the surface (without entering the Underdark), dancing each night under the light of the moon.

Yet again the Good gods come out on top over the evil gods, at least among the greater main gods.

Good: 19, 17, 18, 16, 18
Neutral: 16, 17, 16, 18, 17
Evil: 17, 17, 18, 16

Not only are there *more* good than evil greater gods, they are also more powerful individually. Where's the fun in that?

Wow!

Thank you very much for your quick reply! Now I can start to plan my character! Sadly it takes sometime until the new D&D books arrive in Germany (Amazon says 3 to 5 weeks).

Can you say something about the benefits of this Prestige Class? Are the along the lines of the 2nd edition Sword Dancer? Spell Progression?

Wouldn't Divine Rank be determined by number of worshippers in the Realms? Its no wonder the good gods outnumber the bad gods. Chauntea would have the greatest number of worshippers, no question about it.

Paladin-
Are there any Mielikki prestige classes?

If so, could you post the prereqs? I've got a druid of Mielikki that I know would be interested.

Out of curiosity, is Ilsensine, the God-Brain worshiped by the Illithid, listed amongst the monster-deities?
...
And, if so, what information is available?

Yes, I'll write that up for you.

No, there isn't a Mielikki prestige class. Sorry. Although, there is one that requires your patron to be Silvanus: the Forest Master. I don't see why you couldn't tweak it to Mielikki.

Well, worship doesn't have to mean praise. It can be fear, too.

IMC, this matters a lot. Evil gods get most of their mojo from Joe Average worrying about disease or famine. Mystery cults are mostly helpful not for their prayers or sacrifices, but in that they remind everybody else to stay afraid.

I guess that still doesn't help those poor bumbling FR baddies, though. :)
