I got Lost Empires of Faerûn, you got the questions

Just got the book. For me this wasn't a bad buy...just makes me wish FR had been licencesed by someone else as well.

Well, many people hated the new version of Gamma World. As someone who never played the old version, I liked it.

The Ravenloft game... 'meh'. Some gems, mostly okay stuff.

Dragonlance has been good, some of it even top notch, but expensive.

So who do you feel this should be licensed to that could provide up with hardcover books with full color for under $30.00 like WoTC does?

Goodman games

Please no! GG will insist on some piece of spuriously "innovative" design that will simply be a cover for some sort of design and/or editing error. And then, in the name of "innovation", there will be more RSEs (Realms-shattering events) than even WotC's novels team could think of.

No, no, no. Please don't let GG ever have access to any world that I actually like.

Hmmm, that could work. The art would be consistently top-notch (ie: nothing by Jeremy Jarvis and Dennis Crabapple [although the latter hasn't been seen in a FR product for a while except for holy symbols]).

I'd say Green Ronin, but maybe that's just me.

I'm confused. Green Ronin, Malhavoc et al are all marvellous d20 publishers. However, the 3.x FR books have been almost all excellent and are beautifully designed with some very good artwork. I'd be very surprised if a d20 publisher would do a better job.

Cheers

Oh, I like WotC's FR stuff (mostly); but it's fun to think about possible competent licensees either way.
