Ladies and Gents, one word of caution: I'm letting the Jedi class description above stand, but as per Rodney Thompson in a similar WotC thread, let's try to avoid both verbatim rules texts (the above isn't) and also huge info dumps about entire sections (which the above is). The book is arriving in bits and pieces, and will eventually will be at everyone's disposal, but I'd like avoid any possible legal troubles or C&D's, to be safe. Don't stop posting, but let's limit the full class disclosures or talent tree dumps, that sort of thing.

Am I reading this right that you can be a pretty decent level Jedi without being able to block blasters? I find that a little weird.

A decent level Jedi will block most blaster attacks merely via high Reflex Def. They just won't have a layered defense.
