I guess I don't understand "Operation Power Level Gary" - why am *I* getting XP?

One time I pointed out to Gary that a couple pieces of artwork in the AD&D DMG resembled old Gustave Dore illustrations from Dante's Divine Comedy.

And it was the first time it was called to his attention!

Can I hop on the XP bandwagon for that? huh? huh?


Btw, I'm glad Enworld had those Q&A sessions and archived them. They're a piece of RPG history. Whose ever idea that was should get xp, too.

Not even close dude It's a while ago now - but I was the gynaecologist who helped at Gary's birth, so you're way back in the queue.

I also give most of my time freely to charities and help out waxing bearded ladies when I've done redeeming the kids at the orphanage.

Well, there has been a ton of xp generated by the quest to get Gary a reasonable xp total. After all, he only gets about 3% of the total awarded, at best.

I have given Gary a lot, and thus have handed out even more. Maybe even to the OP.

just giving the xp to Gary would cheapen the effort. As it is being done now, It is a community effort.
