I have a beef with druid spells (Complete Divine)

What does this quill blast spell do?

<shudder> It does bad things that get worse.

I honestly do use any spell that a character wants to add to the game (from splatbooks or whatever you call them) against the party before I'll allow it in game. I don't get a lot of requests for these spells.

Quill blast is the only spell mentioned that's truely sick.


...at least since the errata. You'll want that, by the way, so here it is.

As for Slime Wave, it's been errata'd. Each creature only gets one patch of slime, regardless of size:

Page 181: Slime Wave
The spell refers to the dimension of a creature’s “face,”
a 3.0 version term. Delete “for every 5 feet of its face”
from the last sentence of the first paragraph.
