You don't have to go to Milwaukee to enjoy PBR. I think it's the official drink of Richmond, VA.

My wife and kids usually get yellow third place ribbons, though they're occasionally accompanied by green or purple ribbons. At this point, she finds even the blue or red ribbons meaningless unless they have the accompanying green or purple ribbon. Personally, I consider it a pretty big investment in time and $ for a little bit of ribbon, but then I've been told I just don't "get" it. It's not really about the ribbons. But then MerricB might disagree

Edit: I suspect no one but KidCthulu or Piratecat know what I'm babbling about, so y'all can just move along ...

The bad side is... you have only one ribbon per book. :]

Mind you, if you had more than one ribbon per book, you'd constantly have to protect your book from Morris Dancers.

"Morris dancing is the most fatuous, tenth-rate entertainment ever devised by man. Forty effeminate blacksmiths waving bits of cloth they've just wiped their noses on. How it's still going on in this day and age I'll never know." - Edmund, 15th Century

Cheers!

It was in service the night I got it - the ribbon is very useful for keeping in that page where the XP tables are (my main use of the DMG...)

Merric, did you bag some hot kiwi backpacker with a dragon tatt and go on to use the prophylactic as a bookmark?

Not criticising. Haven't we all?

And here I was thinking it was some kind of temperance league. Like vampires have - red ribbon for no more blood. Coffee only.

I also recently got the blue ribbon, and the red one some time before that. Since I don't want to pay full price for it, I always wait for those books to be available cheap somewhere. I got the red in a shop when they sold it half price, and the blue on eBay. I guess I'll get the next one in the same way.
