Well, if you're not wedded to D&D, Mutants and Masterminds is the smartest book I've seen in ages, from a game-design perspective.

See the caveat in first post about Green Ronin products.

Thanks anyhow. ;)

Erm unless you don't do Modern I'd probably say check out the Red Star Campaign book. Not a recommendation but certainly looks good. I think most people would be hard pushed to recommend anything new that you don't have by the evidence so far :)

How about Guardians of Order products? They've realeased some excellent Tri-Stat books recently. Or maybe you could use the d20 mecha modern military vehicle book in your cross-genre campaign (I bought the Second World Sourcebook because of you - thank you so much! I love it!).

... I'll think of something...

Frostburn was far better than I thought it would be and much of it's rules are not limited to just the frozen north.

There is a section for "Frozen Dungeon Terrain"
More Figuines of Wonderous Power, "Go Basalt Glyptodon!"
Monsters include Midgard Dwarves, Snow Genies, Frost Folk and Yeti (including the abominable version)

Once again, see advisory about Green Ronin books. ;)

Not big on Tri-Stat as a system, though I must say Ex Machina is sounding very nice and coming very highly recommended by two buds of mine... TB and HellHound.

Got it. ;)

Cool. I hope you are getting some use out of it! (Dealing with 3.5 upgrades was a bit of a hurdle for me.)
