Thank you Connor.

In the section on Dragon Magic, are there new spells or even something akin to the feat shown in Dragon 308/Book of Eldritch Might 3?

Also a listing of the feats and a short description would be nice as well.

Oh and I would like the know if the Pr-class for Bahamut is the same as the one in BoED? (Book of Exalted Deeds)

The Bahamut PRC is called the Sacred Warder of Bahamut. It, like the rest of the dragon only PrCs go up to 12th level. I don't have the BoED so I cant compare.

I have niether Dragon 308 or The BoEM 3, but the dragon magic section is mostly composed of Sor/Wiz spells that improve a dragon's natural powers, such as Scintilating Scales, Stunning Breath, Draconic Polymorph, and Breath Weapon Admixture.

The feats section has four parts:

General Feats, which are usefal to almost any monster (especially flying ones or ones with reach).

Epic Feats are (mostly) reproductions of feats in the epic level handbook as the Drac. has rules for advancing dragons into epic levels of power.

Metabreath Feats work for anything with a breath weapon and some other prereqs, and are basically metamagic feats that only apply to breath weapons, like Split Breath, QUicken Breath, Shape Breath, and Clinging Breath.

Monstrous Feats can be used by various monsters, but again are mostly focused on dragons. These range from Draconic Knowledge (like a super bardic knowledge but only dragons can get it), Snatch and Swallow, Wingstorm, Shcok wave, and Embed Spell Focus.

Hope that helps.

The Diciple of Ashalderon PrC is 12 levels. As a dragon levels in it, a few things happen.

Resistances to energy rise. Skill Points rise. Abilities increase. Plus the dragon starts being able to cast the more ... evil of the Cleric high powered cleric and druid spells. Plus, there are some other abilities thrown in having to do with the general theme of working with demons and devils and things that go "DIE GOODDOER!" in the night.

Oh, and at 12th level they "decend" into the half-fiend template and outsider status.

Connor

PS: What is it actually legal for me to post? I'm trying to avoid specifics, but... I'm not sure how grey this area is.

EDIT: Said 10th origionally, meant 12th level. Stupid extra levels for dragons!

I can answer this one since I designed the one in the BoED. The answer is no, they are definitely not the same PrC, although I was aware of the existence of the Platinum Knight when designing the Vassal of Bahamut. Care was taken to make sure that they did not have much in common other than the obvious.

Darrin, thanks for the clarification.

Connor, what dragon magic is, it's magic that only DRAGONS can cast or those that have a feat. Basically it's like corrupt spells or spells from BoVD and BoED, where Dragon is listed as a component. From the sounds of it though, they probably used the spells from Dragon 308 without drawing on the feat...maybe.

I got the book too.

Pretty good, a lot of maybe useless detail but a lot of good game stuff as well.

But why are the dragon deities so damned weak? Io is an INTERMEDIATE god???????
