The Oni and the Emerald Orb Wizard both appear to be pretty nice-looking models.

I don't go for the collectible thing, though.

What grabs my attention here is the map. Caves of Chaos was a large part of the original Keep On the Borderlands module, making me wonder once again whether Keep On the Shadowfell is just going to be an updated version of same...

The Caves of Chaos map was already in Fantastic Locations: Frostfell Rift. Now I'm wondering if Keep on the Shadowfell also has recycled maps.

Though the pics on the DDM spoilers page aren't all of the greatest quality, it looks like a horribly inconsistent set: some great looking minis (Bullette, Oni); others seem really sub-standard (Grick, Mind Flayer Scourge)...

More inconsistent than usual, I'd add - although the consistentcy level has been dropping steadily the last year or two.

I went to ebay yesterday and started ordering the singles of the figures that look remotely decent. This is the first set I've done that; prior to this, for each release I've always bought at least two full sets and 400-500 in total of that release. Even my wife was surprised at this change, since she's used to the $400-$500 spree every 3-4 months for minis, but looking at them, she saw the same thing I saw: lots of repeats, lots of odd chocies, lots of stylistic changes for no apparent reason and mostly, lots of crap. :(
