That spell seems pretty weak. What level is it? Considering the sheer number of will-or-be incapacitated (dominate, hold, etc) spells out there, a touch based "bump" should be 3rd or so (shorter range than dim door, but can work on unwilling targets), and a weak 3rd at that. It seems balanced under the assumption that some massive combo is already in place. I dont balance fireball under the assumption that the PC's have lured the villain into a spot in a paper mache house situated over a pit of gasoline filled with rabid fiendish sharks.

It is a 2nd level spell, it actually teleports the touched target up to 5 ft/2 levels. The destination must be unoccupied and within line of sight. The 2nd level version is OK, but it seems very limited in use.

The 5th level version allows you to teleport 1 target per level, none of which can be more than 30 feet apart 30 feet from their current location. The location they end up must be within line of sight and they must be put on solid ground.

I just don't see much point in moving all of your enemies 30 ft, except maybe to move the wizards in front of the fighters protecting them. Still, seems a very limited use spell.

+4 to checks to resist being disarmed, you can wield the weapon in a grapple without penalty and use it as normal, you can add +5 to all your attacks after the first when taking a full attack, you can take 10 on an attack roll once per round, and you gain a +1 AC bonus.
I could have sworn that it said +5 to any one attack after the first in a full attack action. Not +5 to all after the first.
So instead of +20/+15/+10/+5, you could have:
+20/+20/+10/+5,
+20/+15/+15/+5, or
+20/+15/+10/+10.

I'll check it when I get home, but I'm pretty sure on this.

So, Im kinda cionfused. Does the Duskblade just get a small, crappy spell list? Does hje have access to wiz/sor spells? Does he get Magic Missile?

Just curious :)

I can see those spells having lots of tactical utility, particularly in combination with other people or spell effects. Move those enemies into the Web/Cloudkill/Bladebarrier/Forcecage. Shift a fighter ally who intentionally fails the save into an attack position so he can still take a full attack. Port the enemies away so they can't take full attacks - and so that the Warmage going next has a clear field of fire on the now bunched up targets. It's even better if you don't have to port everyone to the same spot.

If your group routinely uses battlefield control strategies, it seems like these spells are a good way to multiply their effect. If you aren't using the spells that support those strategies, then a few more spells that you don't use won't make a different.

I got my copy as well. I like the book.

The feats are very good. Most of them are logical extensions of the feat chains presented in the Player's Handbook, and the high-level feats are quite welcome. I also like the spell selection.

The base classes are solid. There's nothing mindblowingly cool and I foresee an immense rules bloat with the dragon shaman's totem dragon abilities, but they all seem pretty balanced. The knight is just a bit too reminiscent of a MMO tank.

The affiliations look cool. Once I've figured out the intricacies of the ruleset, I'll be definitely using them for the factions in my Planescape game.

The high level feats are definitely a welcome addition. Since many of them require a high levels. Every fighter will drool over feats such as melee weapon mastery and weapon supremecy, just to name two.

Yes, small crappy list with no access to sor/wiz spells.

No Magic Missile
