No way, dude. I'm, like, being all careful and stuff, cuz I get paper cuts a lot. Somebody needs to invent some, like, cut-less paper so I don't injure myself all the time trying to read. I think paper cuts are one of the main boogeymen behind the decline in youth reading, cuz it's like, "ow, I don't wanna read-n-bleed!" you know? I mean, it's like, come on, people! Computers and video games don't cut your fingers, so somebody ought to tell the government to look into this whole paper cut thing before anybody else gets hurt! :p

nerf paper cuts.

When I was in first grade, I had always heard rumors of this mystical "paper cut," but didn't believe that something as innocent as a piece of paper could cut you. One day I walked over to the big stack of construction paper, grabbed the firmest, sharpest piece I could find, and sliced myself right across the hand.

I was a stupid kid. :)

Oh, I know too well the power of razor-thin paper. Rarely does a day go by that I don't get one. Managed to cut myself seven times in one hour at work once.

That hurt.

A lot. :(

And it's not that I'm clumsy. I just work with LOTS of paper.

Hey, you ever crosshatch paper cuts? Get a nice X going? That can be very nasty, especially when you catch the skin and it tears up a little ....

Is that enough to end this conversation?

You would think so, but sadly nope. To solve your paper cut woes apply a little dollop of super glue. I fondle reams upon reams of paper every day and when the fibers of the sheet strike me down it only take a small application of super glue to get me to stop bleeding all over the customers job.

Ah, the voice of experience. Hospitals have been using it for years. So much so in fact, that when I worked for Johnson and Johnson they "invented" that dermabond instant suture crap. For small enough cuts, or even for some that might be small enough for one stitch or a butterfly bandage, superglue is perfect!

For everyone still waiting for their MM to ship from Walmart, my order has just been changed to it arriving on the 17th. Works for me. I already have the other 2 books in hand....

I've noticed that the covers and internal printing is a good deal lighter (colors, I mean) this time around...

I have the same problem as well; my MM is scheduled to come the 17th. They said my PHB and DMG would be delayed, but I hold them in my hands.

Weird.
