D&D General I Just Want To Teleport and Stab Things

Interesting. What class framework would you suggest to get the most out of this concept?

Also, it is meant to be that you can go 10ft as a bonus action and another 10ft per level as movement?
it's bonus action.
base is 10ft, but you have a pool per Long rest to increase it if you need it.

every class can benefit from teleport, for offense probably heavy hitting melee characters.

Reminds me of 3e’s most powerful Prestige Class, the Telflammar Shadowlord, which had the ability to do a Full Attack after any teleport. Then the builds involved basically teleporting as many times as possible, including via the Standard Action, Move Action and Swift Action 😂 … there was even this spell or psionic power (I forget which) that enabled you to swap place with a willing ally, so a duo of Telflammar Shadowlords could basically get Full Attacks off of the other’s actions too. Absolutely murderous, especially given that 3e did not limit Sneak Attack to once per turn.

Besides that, there is the Horizon Walker which gives at will teleportation, though it’s a fairly high level feature.

For low-level, I guess you can pile on the sources of Misty Steps: High Elf, Fae Touched… maybe even a full caster class to get it as soon as 3rd level?

I know it's been mentioned before, but with the current rules... my favorite option is the Archfey one. Instead of Blade, I would chose Chain. First 3 levels as Warlock to get the maximized misty step going. Then go with Assassin Rogue after that... add levels of Warlock if you want to as you go. Why chain warlock... get your familiar to give you sneak attack when others can't.

It's not at-will teleport... but it sounds like a fun build. I think I might try it.
