D&D General I Just Want To Teleport and Stab Things

Maybe use an invocations chain?
I really dislike chains like that. The only good chain is one that gives you the simplest most basic version in the first item and then improves it with each one.

I would be down for an invocation that boosts teleports. maybe available at level 9, give dimension door as a prepared spell and add Xft to any teleport ypu make idk.

Maybe more of a synergistic combo then?

I.e.
Step of the fey: Telport 10' as a bonus action at-will.
Shadow Hop: Teleport 10' by spending 15' of movement once per turn.
Teleport Control: All all your teleport can go an extra 10'. And if you would be randomly teleported, you can choose the location within rangd.
Shared Teleport: when you teleport, you can bring along a willing ally.

And you can take just 1 or all of them.

Nice. ff
I immediately thought of Xuna from Neverwinter, which of course was based on 4e. Her power was called Blood Bath.

Great example.

Fey step:
you teleport 10ft as a Bonus action
you have a pool for extending teleport distance of 10ft per character level.
it must be used in atleast 5ft increments.
max distance increase per single use is 5ft per character level.
at 5th level you can bring one other willing creature with you paying distance cost separately for both.
at 11th level you can spend 50ft of teleports movement as 10 minute ritual to teleport yourself to a Teleportation circle that you know it's sigils. you can bring one creature with you by paying another 50ft of movement.
at 17th level you can cast Teleport as 10min ritual by paying 150ft of teleport movement.

Interesting. What class framework would you suggest to get the most out of this concept?

Also, it is meant to be that you can go 10ft as a bonus action and another 10ft per level as movement?

Seems fine a feat IMO.
Assuming the pool is per long rest.

Level 20 * 10' = 200'
/ 30' = 6.6 Misty Step equivalents.

Compared to Cloud Goliath getting proficiency bonus per day for instance.

If it is fine as a feat, I'd say that it is also fine as like one half of your level 3 subclass features, maybe more than half for some classes. It definitely isn't as powerful as becoming a 1/3 caster, so for a rogue you can at least add something like "you can gain sneak attack damage against a creature that you teleport to within 5ft of using your Fey Step feature, even if you do not have advantage".

on a monk I might make it so that you can also teleport a short distance when you use flurry of blows...or maybe like...trade an attack for a decent teleport. The idea being to be able to do short little teleports basically at will, and you can take a goodly minute to focus and teleport a longer distance.

As I mentioned before, the fact that rogue (and monk) already have bonus action disengage means bonus action teleport is half paid for

So for those 2 you would definitely want to add more.

Yep just a matter of what. I think overall the monk fits the concept best but there isn't already a teleporting rogue so i would prolly do that.
