I know someone who got infected

I'm in New Jersey in the US. I have two family members infected (my cousin's wife, who managed nursing homes, then then my cousin), and three friends. One whom is just powering through it and I just finished an online D&D session with. He works deliveries which is busy right now - well, I believe he's not allowed to work right now. The other are a couple with young kids, and they are unable to really care for them, but not having breathing issues yet.
Hopefully everybody pulls through.

I wish this statement was true. It feels like reality is becoming increasingly debatable...

We have no control over the world at large, but generally speaking, Morrus' stance is that we are not intending to ding anyone for saying something that is, as best we know, scientifically accurate. That some political party or entity denies it isn't material. But, tying it to a current political debate is problematic.

So, "X is true!" is not political.

But, "X is true, and all those Bull Moose Party people are jerkwads for being against it," is political.

So, right now, noting that large public gatherings are risky enough to be dumb is not political. Pointing out the political affiliations of the people who deny or ignore that risk would make it problematic.
