I love I love the 80s/90s

Dude, the 70's have so much about them that deserves to be "put down" that it just made for more fodder for the show. No insult taken.
As does every decade, I suppose. :D

No need unless you enjoy it. Personally I'm still waiting for an "I Love the 60's" retrospective. I was born in '62 but my father was a college professor and we lived on campus in a house surrounded by dormatories. So even though I was at a very young age I still experienced the late sixties (I just didn't understand some of it, then again I doubt many of the students at the college understood it either at the time).
Now that you mention it, I suppose that I do remember some of the late 70's as well.

In any case, an "I Love the 60's" would be pretty cool, though I suppose that the further back in time they go, the less VH1 viewers will have an emotional connection with it ("Oh yeah, I remember when that happened!"), considering that the earliest generation who really embraced MTV (and later VH1) were in their early-mid 20's when the channel debuted in 1981 (i.e. those who were born in the late-50's or early-60's).

In any case, will the VH1 special about the current decade be called "I Love the 00's"?

Goodsport, you should def. try to catch "I Love the 70's". I liked it better than either 80's shows, and if you're 33 like I am, you WILL remember most of the things they talk about. Its a blast.

After seeing this thread, I sought out these shows just to see what they were like, and I was instantly hooked. It got me thinking though, when they do an "I love the 00's" they will have to include these shows, and that will be totally surreal. Anyone who was nasty will get a taste of their own medicine, possibly from themselves.
